About this tour

Overview
Float above Luxor as the first light touches the temples and tombs of the
pharaohs — then descend into the sacred landscape that once cradled the
afterlife of ancient kings, queens, and artisans.
This LokalWalkers full-day experience begins with a hot air balloon ride at
sunrise, followed by a deep exploration of Luxor’s West Bank: the legendary
Valley of the Kings, the ingenious village of Deir el-Medina, the majestic
Temple of Hatshepsut, and more.
Led by an Egyptologist, this day is more than sightseeing — it’s a journey into
architecture, afterlife beliefs, hidden lives, and royal memory. The desert tells
stories. You’re here to listen.
